There is a good chance we will see another minimum wage increase before the end of President Obama’s term in office. During the 2008 campaign, Obama indicated he supported raising the minimum wage to $9.50 an hour by 2011 and indexing it to inflation. The issue will likely come up again since the Democrats gained a significant majority in both the House and Senate.
