It is indeed possible to mix and match Zope clients for the sake of load balancing. This arrangement will work on the condition that Zope clients on different machines are configured to access the same ZEO server and same file storage location and Zope mount point. Before you add Zope clients from multiple machines you should verify that they point to the same mount point. (See adding and subtracting load balancing clients ).
