When Muscatatuck SDC is closed, what will be done with the buildings?

0

State owned buildings, including all of those on the campus of Muscatatuck SDC, fall under the responsibility of the Indiana Department of Administration (DOA). FSSA is currently communicating with DOA and assisting DOA and Jennings County officials as they to plan for the future of the site. One suggestion has been to create a local “land use authority” that would give significant responsibility and control over the future use of this site to local officials. No final decision has been made on this to date, but the FSSA is open and willing to working with state and local officials to assist in the effort to find the best use of this property for the people of Jennings County.
