When PDF 1.2 font compatible is ON, some symbols shows wrong glyphs in Acrobat Reader4.x or 5.x. Why?

This abnomarl behaviour happens only on PDF 1.2 font mode is checked ON. It’s fixed since Ver 5.53 build 1850 by taking care a special font descriptor flag.

I embedded a toolbar button into a PDF but it shows up in a floating window in Acrobat 7. How can I dock my toolbar button into the toolbar?
When PDF 1.2 font compatible is ON, some symbols shows wrong glyphs in Acrobat Reader4.x or 5.x. Why?
The generated pdf files are empty or Acrobat shows an error message?
