Anyone who claims that all religions are the same betrays not only an ignorance of all religions but also a caricatured view of even the best-known ones. Every religion at its core is exclusive. But the concept of “many ways” was absorbed subliminally in one’s life as a youngster. One is conditioned into that way of thinking before he or she had found out its smuggled prejudices. It takes years to find out that the cry for openness is never what it purports to be. What the person means by saying, ” you must be open to everything” is really, “You must be open to everything that I am open to, and anything that I disagree with, you must disagree with too. ” If there is a True God then He will have to give us the right message – well which

To me scriptures are not a 100 percent dependable. Besides what you hear from so called Saints and Preachers, will add their own understanding in to explanation. Again this is dangerous. Best thing, as I understand is; a. Take very few genuine unviersal principles from any scripture you believe. b. Use your own intelligence logically on these few principles. c. Try till you get satisfactory answer or till you feel you have extracted truth. d. Practice in your life and be ready to change if you find your belief has some chance of change. This exercise is continuous and in process you are likely to get more and more refined knowledge and you will be surprised that what you had never thought will comebeforee your mental eyes. This is the right way to learn true lesson. If you are not convinced, do not accept any knowledge. No feeble decisions.Onlyl firm belief but if find that change is needed be ready and do it. This is the path of self improvement. No scriptures will teach you this type
