When should my Toddler start to talk?

Take him to your doctor and let them know that you are concerned about his babbling. They doctor can actually prescribe a speech pathologist/therapist to take a look. Don’t stress about it too much, what you can do is get his favorite treat/food. If he is still sitting in a highchair put him in it. Bring out like colored blocks. Put one at a time on the tray and say the color slowly. At first any sound he makes reward him. That way he gets the idea of the game. Then start to really make him try to make at least the first sound of the word before rewarding him. This is one of things I had to do with my son. He has autism and just turned three, until this year he didn’t say anything. So my situation was different but this really worked. You can also take a trip around the house. Point the all the different objects in the room and say their name. Do it slow first then at a normal pace. Hope this helps! Just remember to make is fun!
