When skiing are Mitts or Gloves better?

There is no one is better than the other in this case. It’s strictly personal preference. People who’s hands get cold easily tend to prefer mittens as they keep your hands warmer. Those who prefer dexterity and tend not to get cold hands will prefer gloves. My hands tend to cold so I prefer mittens, but I also like the user friendlyness of a glove so I wear a Lobster Mitt. These are mittens with an independent index finger. This allows me to use zippers, and hold stuff much easier. I found a great pair of Hestras, a bit pricey but excellent quality and really warm.
