When Techo Adept uses a rivals stat, what does the stat include?
It includes the stat printed on the rival, plus any effects that give a stat bonus to that rival. This includes Equipment attached to that rival and other abilities (like Faerie Pancakes). It does not include effects that give a stat bonus to the contest, like Mutant Grundo or the Item your opponent played in the contest.
