When to stop breast feeding?
There are always risks to formula. There are risks to weaning a child less than 2 years of age. That isn’t to say you can’t wean at 2 months, or 6 months, or 1 year but you have to be aware of what you are taking away. It is ludicrous to believe that all the immunological properties of milk vanish at some point. A child’s immune system doesn’t mature until age 6! Breastfeeding is the perfect food for babies and toddlers. Breastfeeding benefits mom as well.
