When to visit Macedonia?

I'm from Ohrid and I think that late spring is the best time for your visit. The nature is beautiful, everything is green, the smell (from the flowers and trees) in the air is wonderful. Also, the color of the lake in that period is beautiful, too. It goos from light green to deep blue. The temperature is about 19-25 C. Nights are little cooler. A lot of places to visit in Ohrid: more then a 100 old churches, tzar Samoil's fortress at the top of the hill, antic Roman amphyteatre, old city with it's special architecture, old bazzar, traditional macedonian restourants, fishermen's village etc. In Ohrid you will have a feeling that you are in some other time! Macedonian people are very warm, hospitable people. Many of them (mostly younger people) speak English very good. The curency is denar (1 EUR= 61.5 denars). But Macedonia is not only Ohrid.
