When turning one self in on warrant do you need a lawyer present if no criminal background history?

there are certain programs in different states. Take ohio for example, they have a "safe surrender" program in which the person with the warrant issued can safely turn themself in and immediatly be on probation instead of going straight to jail.I recomend a lawyer even if its to pay for the advise on how to deal with your own particular case.  more
