Signature is the corporate successor to Fremont General Corporation (“FGC”), which was a publicly traded financial services holding company. FGC emerged from Chapter 11 on June 11, 2010 (the “Effective Date. As of the Effective Date, FGC was renamed Signature Group Holdings, Inc. and a new Board of Directors was appointed.
