When will my baby rabbits eat solid food?

If they’re still with their mum it’ll do no harm for them to eat her food. They’ll do it in their own time. Once they’re fully on food and not going back to mum for milk thats when they’re old enough to leave her, which the earliest is 6-8weeks. Never ever give veg to young rabbits. Start introducing it to them at about 12-14 weeks, a small peice at a time. Young rabbits have very unstable delicate stomachs. There should always be an unlimited supply of hay available for them too :o) Remember to tell any new owners this too, and give them a pack of the food the bunny’s are eating as a sudden change in food, even change in brand can give the bunny a bad stomach/a LOT of very soft poo…
