When will soccer stand up and be counted, instead of playing second fiddle to rugby in South Africa?
In terms of benefits to the country, there is no way you can put the upcoming British and Irish Lions tour in the same bracket as the 2010 Soccer World Cup and it’s prelude, next month’s Confederations Cup. My gripe comes from what I perceive as an almost subservient attitude of Danny Jordaan, CEO of the 2010 Organising Committee.
