When will the GED CBT exam be available for the rest of the testing centers?
The test used in computer-based testing is the same 2002 Series GED Test currently available in a paper-based format. There will not be a next-generation GED exam until sometime in 2014. (Posted 3-31-11) How will you combat the GED scams on-line? There are so many scams/frauds on the internet for both GED and high school diplomas it’s almost impossible to keep up with them. At least we can tell people there is no GED on-line testing. Also, how will you protect the content from hackers? With computer-based testing the statement that there is no “online GED testing” is still a true statement. It is crucial for GED Administrators and examiners to understand that the GED Tests will not be available outside of Official GED Testing Centers, and to share that information with test-takers. GED Testing Service plans to increase its brand management and public awareness activities in the coming years to support programs and test-takers in fighting back against online scams.
