When will the updated certification program for CSB preadmission screeners be available? Will currently certified CSB prescreening evaluators be required to complete the program?
The certification program for CSB prescreening evaluators will be a modular, on-line learning program with a competency test for each required module. The certification program is under development but will not be complete by July 1st, so the certification process now in place will be used until the entire program becomes available. Therefore, after July 1st, CSB presceeening evaluators certified under the current program will remain certified pending availability of the full new certification program. New prescreening evaluators should also complete the existing program pending availability of the new certification program. CSB prescreening evaluators will be notified when the new certification modules become available, and will be expected to complete the available modules to maintain their certification.
