When will we colonize space?
The CONCEPT was thought up in 1975. There is no where near the technology nor money to undertakes such a project. The International Space Station is the single most expensive object in history… and that only suits 3 people! There are two BIG problems with space colonization. The first is the harsh environment of space. There are extremely hot and cold temperatures and the vacuum of space is deadly requiring advanced engineering to overcome. The second problem is the cost of rocketry. Currently the only way to get material and personnel into space is by way of rocket, which costs the payload’s weight in gold. Launching probes and satellites costs hundreds of millions of dollars and they don’t weigh much more than small cars, to build an entire space station housing 10,000 people would by impossible with conventional rocketry. There are a few alternatives that might be possible to implement. Space planes might reduce the cost of rocketry since they would fly to the upper atmosphere bef
