Whenever I wear contacts my eyes turn red, water, and hurt!!?
Maybe you’re allergic to a material in the contact lens itself. Or perhaps your contacts don’t fit your eyes correctly. Maybe you got them mixed up and put the L contact in your R eye, and vice versa. Maybe your eyes aren’t meant for the type of contacts you’re wearing. When I first started wearing contacts back in the day, I had gas permeable. They scratched my eyes and hurt really bad, so I switched to soft lenses and have had no problem. I would suggest talking to your eye doctor.
