To tell the truth I think it’s best not to use Game Sprites! I just use game sprites because I’m lazy. • What is satisfactory effort? I need evidence you took time to make the comic. They are made for images with millions of colors. If the sprite comic uses scanned images, then it might be a good idea. Otherwise it’s probably a very bad idea.
