Where are gophers found?
The Mazama pocket gopher (Thomomys mazama) is a regional endemic found only in western Washington, western Oregon and northern California. In western Washington, it is known to occur in Thurston and surrounding Counties. An abundant population can be found at the Olympia Airport.
