Where are the Best Bed and Breakfasts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania?
My husband and I stayed at the Shippen Way Inn this summer, and I found it thoroughly charming and a nice respite from the frenzied South Street a block north. Our room overlooked a lovely little patio with sitting areas and a well-kept garden. We had free roam of the common kitchen/dining area and availed ourselves of cheese, wine, and tea, as well as the breads, pastries, coffee, and other treats provided us each morning. The price is right and the owner is very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this place.Pros + quaint, friendly owner, historic
We were suprised! 4 years ago we stayed at the Rittenhouse Hotel on the square, loved it and for some reason when we went to book again, confusion set in and by mistake we booked this B&B off the Square in the same neighborhood. When we realized the mistake, we researched and decided to take a chance. We loved it! Charming, has lovely amenities, great breakfast and a very warm and helpful staff. We will return!
