I had the opportunity to attend a wedding at the Morning Glory Inn on the South Side of Pittsburgh on Sunday, May 6th 2007 and what I and my fellow wedding guests witnessed can only be described as egregious hospitality from innkeepers and host, Nancy Eshelman. Upon arriving, my family and friends were thoroughly impressed with the inn?s quaint setting, intimate brick courtyard, and southern-hospitality appeal. Unfortunately for the guests, including the bride and groom, those good feelings were replaced in short order by discomfort, tension and blatant disrespect towards the guests, all of which were a direct result of Nancy Eshelman?s appalling and coarse behavior. Stayed on the third floor in the sumptuous Empire suite. Four poster king-sized bed, large fireplace and chandelier all in the room. The art on the walls was splendid as was the beautiful Victorian furniture that adorned the room. The bathroom was as big as some hotel rooms I have stayed in. That’s not all. The breakfasts were out of this world. Beautifully presented by the very friendly and professional staff in an intimate dining room. This is heaven on earth.

It also has a private pasture. The Log Cabin offers more space, and the decor is uncluttered with a sparse but thoughtful collection of folk art. Although the B&B is only 20 miles north of Pittsburgh, it’s definitely for those in a country state of mind. You’ll find sheep and golden retrievers roaming the grounds, which are webbed with well marked walking and skiing trails. The property mainly attracts those seek
