Arthurs isn’t quite a pub or a restaurant, but somewhere between the two. On the one side of the place is mostly restaurant tables, while the other has the bar….with more tables. So it’s really more…

If you want charm and good ole’ fashioned service then you must visit Price Hill Chili. Price Hill Chili has expanded over the years and has many dining options including: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. If you are from out of town you have to try the homemade Goetta (what’s Goetta? stop by and ask). And if you are a fan of highschool football stop by and tell them you are a Moeller Fan and see the reaction. Price Hill Chili is home to the 2002 State Champion Elder Panthers and their Purple Pack.(Note: Despite what the Editorial says, this is “not” a Mexican restaurant)Pros + Atmosphere, Value, Good Parking

Pleasant Ridge Chili is by far one of my favorite restaurants, whether your old, young, inbetween, a trucker stopping through, or anything else this place is great. I’ve been going there since as far back as I can remember and along the way everyone that I’ve ever taken there has fallen in love with this place just as much as I am. The food is made right on the spot when you order so it is always perfectly heated right when you get it. The service is fantastic, if you go in there with a good attitude and treat the establishment with respect, then soon the waitresses will be calling you by name and asking, “The usual today?”, knowing exactly what you want to order. All you need to make sure is to have a little bit of cash on you, the prices are very reasonable and inexpensive so the fact that they don’t accept credit cards is a non-issue (also there are 4 major banks within a 1 minute walking distance so it is definitely not a problem to get money out). I would recommend this resta

This place has been a fixture in downtown Cincinnati for decades. My father went here and now, I do too! They stick to what they do best….great sandwiches with fresh ingredients. Fantastic, homemade soups, friendly wait staff and quick service. I disagree with the comment below about avoiding the Fox at lunch time. Even though it looks busy, you rarely wait more than 5 minutes. This is a Cincinnati institution and you simply can’t go wrong. If you are in downtown Cincinnati and looking for a delicious sandwich, the Red Fox Grill is #1.

One of the best burgers in Cincy, second maybe to Terry’s Turf Club, or perhaps Gordo’s. The toy train that runs around is fun and enhances atmosphere. Not much seating space, so can get very crowded at times.Pros + One of the best burgers in town, toy train running up top.Cons – Cramped space. Impossible to get a table on a weekend night.
