After reporting to the owner, that a hair was found in my potatoes, i was told…”It happens” Never was an apology issued. I have been going here for over 3 years every Saturday morning. One of the waitresses was checking our bill to see if our waitress had charged us for everything. Turns out that the 2 waitresses are not good friends and are very competitive. Upon trying to tell the owner about my issues he told me to leave and motioned me to the door. This establishment will be reported to the Dept of Health as no cooks were wearing hair nets, and food was being stored on the floor. After having an owner not even apologize for a mistake, I will not be back and I will be certain to advise others of my problems.Pros + Judy the waitressCons – Owner, other staff, hair in my food

I just moved into Kirtland and my neighbors highly recommended that I try the Kirtland City Tavern for dinner. My family and I went on a Monday night and were surprised to see a full house retaurant and a short waiting list. Little did we know that Monday’s are 1/2 price burger night at the Tavern. I had a Burger and a bowl of homemade bean and ham soup and found it outstanding. My daughter tried the French Dip and hand cut fries, my son the Cajun Chicken and Broccolli Pasta. Both of them raved about their selection. Their menu features made from scratch entrees, and a wide variety of sandwiches and appetizers, all reasonably priced. We will be back.

A fun spot to dine with kids, greeted with a balloon for them. It was busy, so the wait was around 10-15 min…but the food was reasonable and really good. Served up hot & delish! They also offer the never-ending basket of fries which is also a bonus.Pros + value for your buck

I have been a frequent diner at this restaurant since it opened and can honestly say that I have NEVER had a bad meal. Although I agree with other reviewers that the menu seems limited-whatever I finally decide on does not disappoint. The restaurant is beautiful but I get annoyed that the staff doesn’t wear name tags-I don’t always remember the name and enjoy addressing and thanking someone by name. Here’s what I have to say-AVOID lunch! I cannot for the life of me figure out why this place can’t seem to get a handle on lunch. The service is absolutely dismal at lunch even when the restaurant is empty-there always seems to be more employees than patrons. At best I can’t get my water filled or at worst I’m waiting 2 hours for my meal (no exaggeration)! On a positive note, dinner is 180 degrees the other way. food, service, atmosphere etc is ALWAYS top notch. The drink prices are high but they do serve Top shelf which is a plus. I don’t care for the Lobster Nachos but the Lobster
