I have had drinks on one occassion and dinner on another. Both times I had a good experience. I love the wooden bar and the smokeless atmosphere.Pros + Good food, cheap, hot crowdCons – limited seating

We hit this place 30 minutes off the airplane. Very rustic country interior. Paper towels, caddy of sauces on the table. We ordered a city sampler and a half slab of ribs. Ribs were small, moist and tasted roasted, not smoked. Prairie-fire sauce was the best. Baked beans and slaw were so-so, cornbread was small and soggy. Greens with pork were good. Their house root beer was bland – no punch to it. This must be a local favorite – I wouldn’t return.Pros + decor, portions, parkingCons – , so-so sides, price

I was taken to this restaurant as a random surprise. Now I love Greek food, and when I first entered the place I was like “cool, this smells exactly like I’d expect it to smell: fresh french fries, gyro meat, pita bread…” and when I went over the menu, I saw a lot of the same names I’d seen in other restaurants I’d been to in the past, but the names don’t do the food justice. For one thing, the french fries…clearly these are made fresh daily in-house, and they go through the final frying dip when you order (you never can tell if they’ve cut-and-blanched the fries hours or minutes before, but I don’t think that really matters in the final taste really), so they come out awesome tasting and hot. The “Spicy Chicken” sandwich was amazing…but genuinely spicy, so don’t think you’re going to get a mild spicy like at Wendy’s…I hear this guy makes his “hot sauce” in house, and he’s a spicy guy! I also had a half-batch of the onion-rings which were really good and fresh, but kinda rem

This was a great lunch and would make a good dinner. The 1950’s style it was totally fun. Be careful because the pizza is only serived in the evening and on weekends but everything I have had on the menu was great. Besides that anytime to dine for 15.00 and leave full I am having a great day.Pros + Price, Taste, FeelCons – Hard to fine, Funny Ordering Set Up

I wasn’t as blown away by the Pig Iron as I had expected, although my experience was soured by the fact that a rather long hair was found entwined in our brisket. (We promptly threw the disgusting string of meat onto a nearby empty table, and, judging from the disturbingly casual staff attitude, I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that it remains there.) Questionable sanitation aside, the Pig Iron has a variety of options, with noteworthy babyback ribs and decent lamb. The prices are also quite reasonable given the sizable portions of food. While my initial experience with this BBQ joint hasn’t left me begging for more, I’m confident that a second visit will provide the restaurant with redemption.Pros + Ribs, price, menu selectionCons – Questionable sanitation
