Where are the Best French Fries in Houston, Texas?
Hi Jeff,I love your food. I’ve been eating at Barnaby’s for the past 10 years and just recently, due to health reasons, have become a vegetarian. Last night I was at the W.Gray location, studied the menu and noticed some possible improvement. Everything is delicious; however, I did find that a veggie sandwich and entree option were lacking. The burgers and salads provide enough veg. options. For the sandwiches, you could provide a veggie sandwich w/ a “special sauce” and for the entree maybe a tofu stir fry. I love Barnaby’s and take everyone I know there. Just want to give a shout out for all the vegetarians who love Barnaby’s. Thanks for all your love and care-ileyaPros + Delicious! The absolute best thing at Niko Niko’s are the oven potatoes. How good can you get? Sprinkle some more of the seasoning over them, extra seasoning is in parmesan cheese shakers on the tables, and we are talkin.’The Pork Chops are delicious! They are marinated in olivie oil, lemon, and garlic. I must say, though, that the chops are thinner than they used to be. The lamb kebob is a good choice, also. The lamb and veggies are cooked perfectly.How can you go wrong with gyros? Simple, delicious, satisfying. If you crave something on the lighter side, the pesto salmon and trout are lovely, as well.Now that the weather is turning colder, I have to recommend that you try some of their coffees. They are never a disappointment,. For a casual dining experience with a dash of character and a cool patio this is the place. I love their burgers and the beer is always cold, if not exactly varied. It can be a bit crowded around lunch time, and parking is tight, but this is one of my favorite places to go when it’s not too hot outside. Service is always prompt and they deliver what you expect. It’s a good place to kick back and relax with your kids or a co-worker. And, especially after lunch hour, not a bad place to sit back and chat with your honey.Pros + Great burgers. Cold beer. Good service and a nice patio.Cons – Difficult parking. Sometimes quite crowded.
I’ve eaten at Fuddruckers in various locations roughly 15 times. The restaurants are always meticulously clean. The ordering approach is quick and the Burger fixings are above average. You essentially dress your own burger after it is cooked. Those are the good points. On the negative side we have the following:1. You can’t order a rare burger. Medium is the limit. 2. The meat is average, although the portions are large.3. The exotic burgers including Buffalo and Ostrich are poor. Multiple times the meat has had a tainted taste. So for a burger – Fuddruckers is way overrated. It is at best upscale average.
