Where are the Best French Fries in Sacramento, California?
I waited half an hour here yesterday for a mediocre salad. They weren’t even crowded; the underaged staff there just had no idea what was going on! They mistakenly made my “to go” order “for here,” and when I asked politely for a box, the girl at the counter rolled her eyes at me and was incredibly rude. The food is very similar to Pluto’s, only slightly more pricey. I’ll be going there in the future.Pros + Healthy options; outdoor seatingCons – Terrible service; long lines
This is a favorite hang-out at night for the town’s college students. The fried zucchini is delicious, and the chili fries are overwhelming and best split between two or three people. Shakes are good, and there’s good variety to choose from. The cleanliness of the joint is somewhat uncertain, since they try to cultivate a grimey, hole-in-the-wall appearance. The fried squid is a bit too salty for my tastes. A fun place to hang out and people watch. The hamburgers are common-place, unless you order the specialities, like the ostrich burger. Then, it’s just so you can say ate ostrich.Pros + very cheap, odd foodsCons – location
