Where are the Best Hair Extensions in Orange County, California?
I felt that I needed to defend this school against angry students current and former. This place, like any school, is what you make of it. What you need to realize is that the world gives you what you give it. Some students come in with the mind set to learn, be successful, and build a life from this career and when they leave hear they leave to be successful because they set themselves up for that. Others come in here, not knowing what to do in life, no clue, no direction and no will to learn. Some open up to learning others use there time playing with they’re own hair, makeup, phones and sometimes drugs. They leave with what they gave…Nothing. I read these reviews and I observe some of the points said in each of them. Point one- Bugs. A constant rule trying to be enforced is always eating on the clinic floor. Before last Monday I hadn’t had a haircut in almost 8 years. My hair was all the way down my back, very very thick and very very curly. I was super attached to it, but I knew it was time to get rid of all the dead weight and make it look less like some kind of frizzy, pyramid-shaped cape. I had Cher hair. Vintage, giant, out of control curly Cher hair. So I spoke to Shannon, the receptionist, prior to going in. I made it clear that I had very difficult hair to work with, and I said about ten times that I needed someone who really knew what to do with curly hair. I was insistent, and full of fear, and I’m pretty sure I sounded completely neurotic. She patiently listened to my rambling plea for someone who could take on the challenge of my wild hair & booked me with Bonnie. I said thank you, hung up the phone, and proceeded to drive myself crazy for the next week thinking about all the horrific things that could happen to my hair. I was petrified walking into the salon. Let me first say that I am a closet diva. I am very picky, but I will never tell you what it is that I am picky about. With that said, I could not find anything negative to say about this place. I walked in without an appt at the end of the day and said I needed a haircut/highlights TODAY. The man at the front desk offered me something to drink while I waited for him to find someone who had an opening. I told him I would be patient but didn’t have to wait hardly more than 5 minutes. Emily was my stylist and right off the bat, she was open and LISTENED to what I wanted, and offered suggestions. She did a GREAT job with my highlights, and cut my hair perfectly the way I asked(didn’t bring picture). The best part was getting the scalp massage. Seriously. ALL the staff were very friendly and talkative-but not overly talkative, and not about anything inappropriate-I hate overhearing conversations that make me want to give you an disapproving look. I had a great experience in this salon.I had done my own hair color at home and of course it did not turn out, so I called this salon to have it fixed and they were able to get me right in. They did a wonderful job correcting my hair color and the product they use to color with made my hair feel like it was not even colored. I totally suggest people to try this place out!!! Pros + They use top of the line hair color!!!
