Where Are The Twelve Tribes?
The confusion comes from the ignorance of the vast majority of professing Christians who know nothing of the identity and location of the tribes, such as Zebulon, Issachar, Naphtali, Reuben, Manassah, and the like. Of course, any professing Christian church which makes the claim THEY are the “144,000” of prophecy are making an utterly ludicrous claim, for not a one of them has, among their membership, 36,000 Jews! Why 36,000? Because the tribes of Judah, Levi and Simeon were part of the “House of Judah,” with their capital at Jerusalem, when the northern ten tribes split off, forming the “House of Israel.” Today, few people recognize ANY of the tribes of Israel except that of Levi, which are generally called “Jewish.” Many of them retain the names, albeit in many different forms, of their eponymous ancestor, Levi.
