Where can i buy a pet monkey ?
Don’t get a monkey. They are wild animals and wild animals never work in a household, why do you think there are special rescue places like Monkey World which is a rescue place for apes and monkeys in England, but it mostly rescues apes and monkeys from all over the world. It’s Illegal in most countries to own a monkey or ape, it is here in the the UK, and i’ve seen programs on the TV and it seems it is also illegal in most countries too, and even if it’s not in your country it will be one day. Monkyes have not been domesticated like dogs have, they have so many wild instincts in them, you’ll end up keeping it in a cage as it will get into everything, it just wouldn’t be fair on the poor monkey they belong in the zoo or wildlife park, or even better in the wild.
Think hard before you even try to get one. Monkeys dont make good pets. They get stressed without their own kind and should not be caged. They are very destructive if allowed to go free in a house. They need very specific care so looking after monkeys should be left to the experts. Owning a monkey only brings heartache and mega stress. Have a look at Monkeyworld.org -they are a monkey rescue centre. You can ‘adopt’ one of their monkeys and get updates on its life.
Ok people please promise me you wont do it. Save that urge,,,,think of cleaning it, medicating it, feeding it special foods, training it, tending it when you want to party or sleep ……….imagine the kahkah you would have even if it was caged accidents happen in your room or not. Why get a pet you have to cage anyway…..no fun and seems like a waste and kind of sad to see anything in a cage. Travel with these things some time….not easy. Would you really hang out with friends with your monkey hanging off you? Join the circus as a volunteer first or spca or some place that has them. Please reconsider getting a monkey for the “fad” of it.
