Where can i buy backdrop/background for potrait photography?

I would just buy some fabric and drape behind the subject you are photographing. About two yards should work for most everything, except for larger groups of people. I bought some fabric from a local fabric store for pretty cheap and it works well. Just remember that if you leave it laying around it can get dirty, and also wrinkly – which is ok, if you want that effect. Also, for a stand, I would consider buying one of those “instant closets”… the metal ones that have the side braces with the metal (or wooden) dowel runs across the top that you would hang coats or clothes on. Just drape the fabric across that. For storage, you can buy a rubbermaid container that has a lid.
