Just shop around but you can get stuff relatively cheap at supermarkets I know places like Lidl can have cheap beer, ales wines and some spirits (not main brand spirits however) it always comes out cheap to buy in bulk so the larger the pack of drinks the cheaper it is per bottle or can normally Last christmas we threw together a party and spent about £150 on alcohol and it spread out pretty well for about 20ish people as they brought some stuff to contribute to it too (wasn’t expected however)
