Center section is fixed but the two ends recline. Like so many others, our springs have sprung and reclining is very difficult. I saw one answer by Nikki July 2008 who indicated that a set of springs could be purchased from Barcalounger for $20, but I have been unable to get contact information in order to place an order! Barcalounger.com is absolutely no help! Mfg - Barcalounger Model number - 3108 Item - 5043-25 reclining Leather sofa We would appreciate it if someone that has this information would respond!
