Where can I find affordable home builders near Mobile, AL?
I am thinking of doing the same in California. Research pre-fabricated home builders in your area. I am not talking Mobile homes…I mean real homes that are fabricated in a factory and then tucked to the site for the finish work. They advertise to be 20% cheaper that conventional builders and since they are pre-fabricated, they go up much faster than a conventional build. That means you will be paying that mortgage for less time before the rent kicks in. Be sure to check with your states’ Section 8 office for specific requirements of the home before you select a floorplan. They will only pay a set amount per number of bedrooms/bathrooms, etc.
