I did some research and found that this website has alot of Compaq laptop adapters for the car. It comes with a few different port ends and it says it supports the Presario V2000 Series on the second item on the page. Also they all range from about 13$-16$ (not including shipping, I am not sure their shipping costs.) Hope this helps!
