Where can I find easy-to-read Bible reading notes for new Christians?
Here are two sources I find invaluable: The New International Version Study Bible published by Hodder & Stoughton – has a concordance, maps, cross-references and comprehensive explanations on the scriptures at the foot of every page. The New Lion Handbook of the Bible published by Lion Publishing plc (U.K.) – section by section guide with explanatory notes on key words, 126 expert articles on subjects of special interest, photos, maps, charts, diagrams and a rapid fact finder to the Bible – key people, places, events and teachings. Fascinating and informative! An excellent on-line Bible resource is Got Questions – if they don’t have information on a specific question or Bible subject, you can send in your question and they will get one of their researchers to come back to you with an answer.
