Where can I find free lyrics to a song or songs online?

There are lots of free lyrics sites on the web. There’s www.lyrics.com, www.azlyrics.com, www.metrolyrics.com, www.sing365.com, and many more. The easiest way to find the lyrics for a particular song (since searching all those sites individually would be quite a task) is going to www.google.com, and entering the name of the song in inverted commas and the word lyrics. It often helps to include the artist’s name in the search as well. So, for example, if you’re looking for “Don’t Let Me Down” by the Beatles, try the search: “don’t let me down” lyrics beatles There are very, very few songs – and hardly any popular songs – whose lyrics you can’t find like that.

You can search by title and artist if you know either. There is also a search function by “phrase” and scattered words. I’d say they have about 85% of the songs that I’ve ever went there to look up, so I’d highly recommend it. Of course, depending on the songs you’re wanting, if they’re gospel, very old and obscure, or from independents, they might not be on there. My daughter usually types in a search in google or yahoo and finds the lyrics if she knows the title of the song. She is also able to find guitar tablature for free online for most of the songs she wants.

All you need to do is enter “lyrics” and then enter the name of the song you are looking for and you should be able to find just about anything. I hope this helps.
