There was no protection from shipping damage and guess what. The refrigerator damaged/dented. I could have gotten past the dent but aftre being plugged in for 24 hours, the inside was hotter than before plugging it in. I had to repack the item doing a much better job than I received it in and drive it to a local UPS depot where they charged me more than what Amazon would have charged me if the shipping weren’t free. Amazon did refund the price of the refrigerator but only the shipping that they would have charged and NOT what I had to pay. I lost money on this deal and have no refrigerator. – This is a small refrigerator, good the sodas and small items. But it works fine (slightly noisy) and was a great deal for the price. Though the packaging wasn’t great, it arrived in perfect condition. Would definitely recommend f
