Where can I find statistics on the jewish population living in Germany during WWII?
Be aware there will be a disparity between sources since sources attempt a balance between conflicting ideologies. What Jewish records may indicate will incite hateful rejoiners from the ‘Aryan’ groups who still hold power. The Holocaust deniers cry foul when anyone attempts to add up the numbers. And there is also the issue of ‘what is a Jew.’ The Spanish Inquisition established a ‘rule’ that it took five to seven generations to ‘purge’ a person of Jewish heritage. A standard upheld by the Nazis and to this day a standard held by Evangelical Christians. As a Jew you will never go to Heaven nor will your children but their children’s children’s children might go to Heaven (and you wonder why some Jews refuse to accept Jesus?). In Nazi Germany this translated into many Lutherans being stripped of their property & sometimes their lives because their Great-Great-Great Grandmother or Father was a ‘Jew.’ Here are a few links you can play with….
