Where can I find the current rates of pay for Brigade Managers?
There is a two track approach for determining levels of pay for Brigade Manager roles. At national level the National Joint Council for Brigade Managers of Fire and Rescue Services (NJC) annually reviews the level of pay increase applicable to all those covered by the national agreement. All other decisions about pay levels and remuneration for individual Brigade Managers are taken by the local employing fire and rescue authority, who will annually review these salary levels. Pay for Brigade Managers nationally (agreed within the NJC) is agreed on the basis of minimum rates of pay per population banding rather than pay ranges. The current minimum rates can be found here. The national agreement does not set an upper limit for the pay of any chief fire officer in any population band.
