I had the same dilemma, because I love waffles, but it can be a pain to make batter, especially for small batches. What I now use, which is fantastic, are Bisquick Shake and Pour! They come in small sizes, and I often find them on sale at the store, so I buy a lot at once and keep them around for when I’m hungry for a waffle breakfast. They’re so simple and easy. You just pour water in up to the line, close the lid, and shake up the batter. In a couple minutes, you’ve got just enough to make 3 or 4 waffles, and no mess. All the batter is inside the little jug, so you don’t have to clean any dishes, bowls, or whisks. The plastic is recyclable, so after you’re done, you just wash it out and toss it in the recycle bin. The pictures on the Bisquick show pancakes, but it actually makes great waffles too. I don’t even bother to try and make waffles the old way any more. The Bisquick version is so fast and simple, and the waffles are so good, it’s the only way to go! Sources:
