Where can I get XP drivers for the LG W1943C LCD monitor?

Your issue has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with your LG monitor. When you reformatted your PC, you wiped out all the drivers, including your VIDEO CARD drivers. Without the custom drivers written specifically for the particular video card in your computer, Windows by default uses the generic “Standard VGA graphics adapter” driver in Device Manager instead, and that generic VGA driver only supports limited resolutions. Until you install the custom drivers written specifically for the video card in your computer, you will NOT be able to change the resolutions and your display will continue to look stretched out and huge. So find out what video card is in your computer, go to the video card maker’s website and download the right drivers for it.
