Where can I learn how to use a sewing machine?
First of all, if you want to sew, it’s important that your sewing machine actually works. If you try to use the old junky one you already have, it will be unnecessarily difficult, especially considering the fact that you’re a beginner. (Believe me, sewing machines break down A LOT, and an important part of being able to sew is knowing how to repair your machine.) Sewing machines really aren’t that expensive. You can get a reasonably nice one for under $50. I learned how to sew by taking a sewing class offered at my high school. I would advise that you have someone show you in person how to use it rather than trying to figure it out on your own.
