City, village, and township Master Plans and Zoning Ordinances can be reviewed at any respective local city, township, or village office. Additionally, the Ottawa County Planning and Grants Department maintains a Planning Resource Library that contains local unit of government master plans and zoning ordinances*, as well as a variety of planning reports, studies, periodicals, and reference books that are available for the public to review. Visitors to the library can watch educational videos and listen to audio presentations, make copies of interesting articles and planning documents, and check out a variety of planning materials. The online library allows visitors to search for planning documents by author, title, and subject, as well as by key words. The Planning Resource Library lists most available resources. * The copies of master plans and zoning ordinances in the Planning Resource Library may not be as up-to-date as are copies on file at the respective local unit of government.  more
