where can one buy seahorses for their home aquarium?

They seem to be very reliable, but seahorses are very expensive. One word of advice, I wouldn’t buy seahorses unless you have a tank devoted to seahorses only. They are very difficult to keep. I owned a pair for a little over a year before they died. They live on a strict diet of live brine shrimp and plankton. If you put them in a tank with fish, they will never be able to get any food because of they are so slow. Also, you need to keep very good water conditions. They require a certain PH level in order to survive and are extremely delicate creatures. The best place to look for seahorses (offline) would be a tropical fish store.
