Where did Cain get his wife if there were only he and Abel?
The Bible does not say that there were only Cain and Abel. Of the direct children of Adam and Eve, only Cain, Abel, and Seth are mentioned; but there is nothing that says that there weren’t more. In fact, given the long lifespans back in that time, it is almost certain that Adam and Eve had many, many more children than are mentioned. Very likely, the direct children of Adam and Eve paired off and married among themselves; brothers taking their sisters to wife. As a Mormon, I have additional scripture which is somewhat more clear regarding this matter. The book of Moses, part of our volume called the Pearl of Great Price, contains material which we believe to have been originally included in Genesis, and to have been later removed and lost.
