Stamp Act took place in the American colonies previous to the revolutionary war. The Act made it so the colonists had to purchase a special piece of paper on every item including playing cards and dice. Sugar Act was an indirect tax on regular goods such as molasses in the colonies. Both of these helped lead to the revolutionary war.
