In most cases you will need to call the police department in the county where you live to obtain a copy of a report that has been filed. Did the officer that came out to the property give you a card with a case number on it? Normally when they file a report a case number will be given to you so you can get the copy within 2 weeks of the accident. Normally they will also send a copy in the mail to you. I would suggest you call the county sheriffs’ office and give them your case number if you have it. If not they can look it up by name, address and incident.
