…I suggest you try this… Go to a store that has poly/cotton printed fabrics such as Hobby Lobby and pick up 1/4 yard of fabrics with either the baseball motif, or the hunting motif. Cut a section on the bias, fold the long edges under and iron them. Then use the strip with the images as if it were trim and sew it onto the stocking. Gussy it up with color-coordinating strips of ribbon or sequins. Alternatively, look at their iron on appliques and put some on a contrasting fabric or wide ribbon.
