IIS (Internet Information Server) is a key component of some versions of windows. (XP Pro, Win 2000/2003 Server etc) To install it: Fom the run line type appwiz.cpl and then Add/remove Windows components and ensure that IIS is selected ?(it is usually the 5th from the top), you may need to have the Windows CD available. Once you have done that run the aspnet_regiis.exe program, available in the WINNT\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.0.3705 directory (the vx.xxxx should be the latest one you have). Specifically, run the program as: aspnet_regiis -i (The -i option installs the needed associations in IIS.) The easiest way to run this is to go Start | Run and then Browse to the file location and then add a space and the -i.
